Getting the good oil pays dividends

A healthy relationship between a Malborough walnut supplier and a specialist Ashburton processor has resulted in an award-winning walnut oil.
Uncle Joe's delicious and delicate walnut oil has won gold three years in a row at a national gourmet oil contest run by the Canterbury A and P Association as part of the Royal Show in Christchurch. Twice it has been named best oil in show.
The Blenheim company is owned by Malcolm and Jenny Horwell, who send walnuts to Ashburton's Oil Seed Extractions for processing.
