New Zealand gourmet oil competition announces 2008 winners

On Tuesday 28 October, judges from around the country tasted 49 oils from 28 produces at the New Zealand Gourmet Oil Competition. They awarded 3 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and 26 Bronze Medals.
Uncle Joe's Walnut Oil, produced by Oil Seed Extractions Ltd Ashburton, was voted by judges as Best in Show. The quality of the Walnut Oil entered was outstanding with all entrants in the walnut class receiving metals.
